Lupine - Limited Edition Linocut Print

Part of the Colors of Summer collection, celebrating the plants, colors, and memories that define summer in Alaska.

Lupine has always reminded me of my mom. Growing up, I remember her gasping with joy at the patches of lupine blooming on the roadside, and it's something I do now too. Now when I see lupine, I think of her. It's one of those flowers that never fails to make me smile.

The deep blue-purple of this print is inspired by the color I picture when I think of lupine in bloom. Lupine is full of gradients and shades of purple, but this deep blue-purple is the one that sticks in my mind.

Designed and printed in my Juneau, Alaska studio. Each print is hand-carved and hand-printed, so no two are exactly alike. You will receive a random numbered print from the edition.
