Colors of Summer

Colors of Summer is a collection of hand-carved linocut prints inspired by some of my favorite Southeast Alaska plants. Each plant is printed atop a circle of color chosen to reflect one of its most recognizable features, creating a simple visual connection between the plant and the color it brings to the landscape. Together, these prints form a collection of some of my favorite summer memories. These plants are part of what makes summer feel like summer to me. This collection celebrates the colors they bring to the world around us and the small moments and memories tied to them.
